Unlike a full application which covers the entire lash line, the half application focuses on the outer half of the eye. At Pana Beauty, we apply the extensions (or Russian Volume bouquets for the glamorous effect) gradually, starting towards the middle of the eye and intensifying towards the outer corner, to create this elongated effect.
The difference lies in the density and length of the extensions used. For the glamour effect, we generally use Russian Volume bundles (3D to 6D, or even more) and/or longer extensions to create more intensity and a pronounced 'doe-eye' effect. The natural effect will use fewer extensions or shorter, more discreet extensions.
It's best to avoid using mascara on extensions to avoid damaging them and making cleaning more difficult. You can also apply mascara only to your natural lashes on the inner part of your eye, if you wish, using a non-waterproof mascara.
